Terms of Service & EULA

Last updated July 7, 2026Applies to Recury for iPhone

By using Recury you agree to these terms. They’re short, and written to be read: the license you’re granted, how Recury Plus is billed, and the honest limits of what a tracker can promise.

The short version. Recury helps you keep track of your own subscriptions. It’s a helpful estimate, not billing advice, and it can’t cancel anything for you. Recury Plus is an optional, auto-renewing purchase billed by Apple. The app is provided as is, and you’re free to export your data and walk away at any time.

Using Recury

Recury helps you track your own subscriptions. You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you enter; the app’s totals and reminders are estimates to help you stay on top of spending, not financial, tax, or billing advice. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your country to use the app.

Your license to use the app

Recury grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal use, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app, or attempt to reverse-engineer it except to the limited extent that applicable law permits despite this restriction.

Because Recury is distributed through the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple’s standard EULA overlap, Apple’s standard EULA governs the license grant. This agreement is between you and Recury, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, but is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce the license terms against you.

Not affiliated with the services you track

Brand names and logos belong to their owners and appear in Recury only to help you recognise your own subscriptions. Recury is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the services you track, and it cannot cancel, pause, or change those subscriptions on your behalf. That always happens with the service itself, or in your Apple Account.

Recury Plus

Recury Plus is an optional in-app purchase that unlocks a few extra conveniences: adding subscriptions by voice or by a photo of a bill, importing from the App Store, and exporting your history. Everything else is free, forever: the whole timeline, manual entry, reminders, and currency. The voice and photo features send that one clip or image for cloud processing exactly as described in the Privacy Policy; using them means you’re okay with that.

Recury Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers: if you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the paid year begins automatically. The monthly plan has no trial and is charged at confirmation of purchase. Every plan renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves you on the free app.

One honest touch we’re proud of: your Recury Plus membership — trial included — appears on your own timeline like any other subscription, so the app itself reminds you before the trial converts and before every renewal. Prices may vary by region and may change over time; any change applies only to future renewals, and you’ll always see the current price before you confirm a purchase.

Reminders

Notifications are provided on a best-effort basis and depend on system permissions and the state of your device. They’re a helpful nudge, not a guarantee, so please don’t rely on them as your only safeguard against an unwanted charge.

Acceptable use

Please use Recury lawfully and as intended: for tracking your own subscriptions. Don’t use it to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, or to interfere with the app’s security or intended operation.

No warranty

Recury is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every charge, date, or total it shows is correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recury is not liable for any charges you incur, subscriptions you meant to cancel, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use Recury after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
